概要　Outline
公共の場で泣いている男性もしくは女性がいたらあなたならどうするか
動画内では、服屋にて女性と男性が共に目当ての服のサイズがないことに対して絶望し泣き始める
それに対して周りの客はどんなアプローチをするかモニターするという内容

What would you do if you saw a man or woman crying in public? In this video, a woman and a man both start crying in despair because they don't have the size of clothes they want in a clothing store, and we monitor how the customers approach them.

感想　My thoughts
大きく2つ思うところがあった
1. 男女間で周りのリアクションが変わったこと
明らかに女性が泣いている方が優しくされていて、男性の場合は気味悪がられている
これは大人の男性が公共の場で泣くことは異常というバイアスによるものだろう
多様性の時代においてこのバイアスに変化があるのかどうか興味がある
2. 日本で同じようなことが起こる想像がつかないこと
少なくとも私は同じようなシチュエーションで声を掛ける自信がない
その理由は色々あるが、シンプルに気味が悪いと感じるのは冷たい人間だからだろうか
何かしらもしかしたら声をかけたほうがいいという気持ちが奥底にありながらも、結局は本人がなんとかするしかないという気持ちのせいかもしれない

There were two main things I thought.
1. It is obvious that women crying are treated more kindly and men are treated more weirdly. This is probably due to the bias that adult men crying in public is abnormal.
2. I can't imagine something like this happening in Japan, at least I don't have the confidence to speak to stranger in a similar situation, and there are many reasons for this. I guess it's because I'm a not kind person who simply feels creepy. Or It may be because I have a feeling deep down that I should talk to them, but on the other hand, they will have to deal with it themselves.
