be 動詞 + ing を使う現在進行形（present continuous）

今、行動していること起こっていることと、まだ終わっていない行動、出来事に対して使います。

Sarahが車を運転しているのは今です。

I'm reading a really good book at the moment. It's about a man who...

この本を読んでいるというのは本を読み始めてまだ読み終わっていないという状態のことを表していて、この発言をした時に本を読んでいるという意味ではありません。

現在進行形（present continuous）で使われることが多いのは、

時間を表す言葉であれば 

today, this week, this year など

動詞では

get, change, become, increase, rise, fall, grow, improve, begin, start 

です。
