Leaving Home and Independency
Today I saw a job posting that would force me out of my comfort zone because I would need to travel to another state and live independently which I plan on doing within the next few years. The job isn't what I intend to do long-term because it is focused towards water and I wanted to do something in relation to power systems. Although that's the case, the pay is exceptionally good, the benefits are amazing, and it is a telecommuting job. It is mostly work from home which is amazing because I won't be needing to waste time traveling, I can save money and eat lunch at home, and I have more time for myself. So, I started with applying for the job and it made me think about all of the opportunities I'll be given if I get hired at this job. This made me really excited for the future but at the same time, I have been responsible for doing a lot of the house work while living with my parents, this made me feel guilty for leaving my parents to live independently but I think it's something that some must do to break out of your shell. In order to find what you want in life, your goals and dreams, and making new relationships, sometimes you must leave the nest and create one yourself. I am fortunate for having loving parents and they support in anything that I do but this means that I need to try harder and make more money so that I can spoil them. To whoever is having doubts about moving to another state, you should definitely do it! I will guarantee you that this will be one of the best life choices you're going to make. Of course you'll need to do some planning and to make sure that your pay will cover rent, food, and everything else that needs to be included. I have applied for the position as of 02/02/2023 and will update you all whether I have been accepted or rejected. It is all apart of life, you will make mistakes or you will do good and they will hire you. I learned that you should never feel bad about being rejected, this will provide you with more motivation and experience to do better. You will definitely find your dream job one day one step at a time. Best of luck to everyone job hunting but make sure you are also taking care of yourselves.
