Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a simulation that a human has programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions. The characteristics of AI is the ability to rationalize and provide the best chance of achieving a specific goal. Many companies are currently trying to use AI so that the costs of labor can be cut in half. In my case, I am an Electrical Engineer that has been assigned to work on a built AI project where I'll have to manage the system. Due to our shortage in staffs for many years, we had to find alternative ways to solve this issue and AI was one of these solutions. The AI will be capable of reading the trends and provide every single information we need, read through millions of data and be capable of predicting an event of a disaster, or being able to set alarms to notify all plants during an emergency scenario. AI's make our lives more easier but there are some people that use AI as an act of war. With the automation of jobs, many more people will be laid off because they're able to do what humans can do but better. AI is also so overly powerful, there has been widespread news where we can use a celebrity's face and have their face structure mimic exactly how you would envision it and you would not know who is fake and real. There has also been news about a computer program called ChatGPT, an AI chatbot that has the capability of learning. It is so advanced that is has passed the MBA exam of business, it has been used at school to complete your assignments. ChatGPT can create poems, codes, itineraries, anything you could ever imagine. It has just recently been popularized and it is valued in the billions which is crazy to think about.
