September 26, 2021 阪神タイガース (Hanshin Tigers)

 I am a supporter of Hanshin Tigers, a professional baseball team. Until about five years ago, the team was so weak that I had lost my energy to support the team. However, the new manager, Hiroaki Yano, changed the team dramatically to contend for a championship. In particular, I am fascinated by the young players who compete for their starting positions. This year, Takano Nakano, a rookie, won the starting shortstop position. I am also excited about the batting and base stealing of Koji Chimoto, an outfielder, and is reminiscent of Norihio Akahoshi.
 The league competition is in the last phase now. Tigers are in the midst of three-game series against Giant that will have a significant impact on the future of Tigers. Yesterday, it beat Giants thanks to the best-ever pitching performance of Hartuo Takahashi. I hope that the offence will explode to beat Giants today and expect home runs of Yusuke Oyama and Teruaki Sato.

　ボクは、阪神タイガースのファンです。5年位前の阪神は、負けてばかりで、応援する熱も冷めていましたが、矢野さんが監督に就任してからの阪神は大きく変わり、優勝も争えるチームへと変身しています。なにより、若い選手の活躍が魅力的です。今年は新人の中野選手がショートのレギュラーを獲得しました。また、外野の近本選手の打力と走力も魅力です。赤星選手を彷彿させます。
　ペナントレースもいよいよ終盤です。巨人との3連戦は目が離せません。昨日は高橋投手の快投で勝ちましたが、今日は、打線の爆発による勝利を期待します。特に、大山選手と佐藤選手の大爆発に期待しています。
