April 25, 2022: Ordering New iPad, Delivery, Life with No Tablet （新型iPadの注文、納期、タブレットのない生活）

  I ordered the iPad on the online Apple Store. However, I was greatly disappointed to find the delivery very late. I must wait for one month to receive it. It is mainly due to the COVID-19. It causes delays in the production of Apple's subcontractors.
 The Apple Store is unfriendly. It was not until I completed the purchase process that I found such late delivery. It is the way Apple does and displeases me so much.
 Reluctantly, I began my life with no iPad. In the beginning, it was very frustrating. In particular, I was frustrated when I had no access to a tablet while watching TV in my living room. I also had trouble falling asleep due to the lack of a tablet.
 But I managed to adjust to such a life a week later. I have become addicted to watching Amazon Prime Video in the living room and have been able to fall asleep with no tablet.
 I am now considering if I should cancel the new iPad.

　新型iPadをApple Storeで注文しました。でも、商品が届くのはなんと1ヶ月も先です。がっかりです。コロナの影響で生産に支障がでているのでしょう。
　また、Apple Storeは不親切です。購入手続きが完了して初めて、納期が1ヶ月先というメッセージが出てきました。Appleらしいやりかたといえそうですが、不快感は否めません。　
しかたないので、タブレットなしの生活をはじめました。初めのうちは、タブレットがなくて落ち着きませんでした。特に、リビングでテレビを観ながらタブレットを使うことができなくなり、不便でした。また、寝ながらタブレットを見ることができず、寝つきが悪い日もありました。でも、1週間もすると、この生活にもなれました。リビングではアマゾンのPrime Videoにはまっています。また、寝るときもタブレットなしで瞬時に眠れるようになりました。
　新型iPadの注文をキャンセルしようかと迷っています。
