July 27, 2022: Workshop, Metaverse, Imagination （ワークショップ、メタバース、想像力）
Last week, I joined an online workshop for Metaverse. The only experience I had with it was the TV drama AIBOU. After that, I joined some workshops on it. But it has not hit me yet. On the other hand, it is said to grow more and more. Thus I joined the workshop to get familiar with it as much as possible.
The workshop aimed to talk about the fundamental question of what is Metaverse. Therefore, most members had little known or experienced it. It let me talk with other members with ease. It was a good and pleasant two hours. First, I heard about the Metaverse experience of a member.
Eventually, I took it as an environment that would allow us to experience what we have done with our bodies in a virtual space. It stirred my imagination.
先週、メタバースに関するオンラインワークショップに参加しました。メタバースと言えば、何年か前のドラマ・相棒で体験したくらいです。それ以降、これに関するワークショップに何度か参加しましたが、いまだに実感が湧かない代物です。でも、ネットなどの情報では、これの存在が確実の大きくなっていくということのようなので、少しでも情報を仕入れるべく、今回も参加しました。
今回ワークショップは、「メタバースとはなんぞや」という初歩的なことについて参加者と語り合うのが目的でした。そのため、参加者の大半の人が、メタバースとは全く関係ない人ばかりでした。ボクも、全くの素人だったので安心して、ざっくばらんに話しができ、非常に楽しい2時間でした。
最初にメタバースを体験した方から、バーチャルスニーカーの体験談を聞かせてもらいまたがどうもピンと来ません。結局、自分なりに、今まで体を使って体験してきたことが仮想空間で体験できる環境と理解しました。お陰で、想像をかき立てられました。
