誰に使うかと言うと、子犬とか赤ちゃん。
大人に言えなくはないかもしれないですが、稀かな。
可愛い男子、何歳になってもかわいらしい人、いる。

何故ボタン？
可愛いボタンもあるけど、普通のボタンは可愛くない。
子供服とかペット用の服に着いてるような可愛い系のボタンのイメージ。
ころんとしてる可愛さ、かな。

何故この言葉を選んだのかと言うと、週末に子犬を見かけたから。
久しぶりに「Cute as a button!」と言う表現を聞きました。
