英語日記 No.57

I keep reading articles about the war in Gaza on the Al Jazeera site because I often come across pieces by journalists living in Gaza. This helps me gain insights into the lives of ordinary citizens. Through reading one of these articles, I learned about a makeshift school in Rafah. There, teachers and university graduates were volunteering to educate children, hoping to lift their spirits amid the despair. However, the makeshift classrooms were dismantled after Israel ordred citizens to evacuate to another place. I really admired the volunteer teachers' belief and resilience in continuing to provide education to children. At the same time, it's heartbreaking that even a small glimmer of the joy of learning among children in Rafah was extinguished by Israeli forces.

Thank you for reading my diary.
