英語日記 No.5

こんにちは、carina です。
今日は私が沖縄で行ってみたい場所についてです。
交換日記の先生が
Okinawa is on my bucket travel list. Do you have any specific sights or activities in mind while in Okinawa?
と聞かれたのでそのお返事です。

In Okinawa, I want to visit the Himeyuri Memorial Tower and Museum to learn about the Battle of Okinawa. I am interested in Japanese and world history, especially regarding World War Ⅱ. It's because my father's father and older brothers were killed by the atomic bomb in Hiroshima. My father's mother, sister and my father stayed in a rural area to avoid attacks, which is why they were able to survive. I have read many books and articles about the war so far, but I still want to learn and never forget the tragedy that people around the world experienced some 80 years ago.

Having an atomic bomb survivor for a father allows me to read many books and articles about the war. 

この沖縄の日記は2週間ほど前に書いたのですが、ここに投稿することで復習になり、何か書き換えができないか考えて書き換えてみることが私の勉強になります。
