A Burnout Ex-Prodigy's Confession: Who Said I'm just a 'Philosopher'?

When I was a child, my slightly sarcastic young uncle would often call me "sensei." Even at a young age, I understood that he meant it sarcastically. In my early twenties, when I was going through a severe mental state, there was someone (who was 65 years old at the time) who would sometimes refer to me as "sensei," which further worsened my mental condition. By the way, he would occasionally also call me a "philosopher," as if implying that I only talked big but couldn't accomplish anything. Eventually, I experienced a tough mental breakdown and sought help at the psychiatric department of a university hospital. After undergoing the Rorschach test, I was diagnosed with the inability to work or attend school. This outcome surprised me, but at the same time, I felt relieved that the doctor's assessment finally acknowledged the burden I had been carrying since childhood.
