DE LA JET SET RADIO 書き起こし⑫（BANTAM ＆ GRIND SQUARE）
Grind City - my turf. My name's Combo,and me, Cube, and Coin used to own the Bantam St. ares in this city. It's a little far from Tokyo, but everyone used to stay outta our way there. Until recently, that is. Someone's been going around painting these ugly signs all over Grind City. It's so ugly, I can't even call it "graffiti", Strange paintings of rhinos... and bizarre symbols... All of our old graffiti has been covered up by these horrific signs. And on top of that, Coin has been kidnapped, and his enormous collection of records has been destroyed, Ever since the emergence of these paintings, strange things have been happening in this city, too. Unfamiliar black cars and men in black suits are hangin' around the streets as if they're waitin' for something. And wait... was the statue here at Grind Square always this color? There's definitely something wrong here. I smell something fishy going on.
トーキョーから遠くはなれた街、グラインドシティ。オレたちのにわであるこの街に、妙に目障りな、グラフィティと呼ぶにはオソマツな絵が溢れ出した、妙なサイの絵、かいどく不能な文字。オレの名はコンボ。この街のバンタムストリート地区で、キューブ、コインと三人のチームを組んでいた。しかし最近、オレたちのチームのグラフィティがすべてそれらに塗りつぶされ。この謎の絵をしきりに気にかけていた仲間のコインは行方不明になり、彼のぼう大なレコードコレクションはすべて荒らされていた。この絵が現れて以来、この街の様子がオカしくなりだした。見なれない黒い車と、黒いスーツを着込んだ妙な奴等が街をうろついている。グラインドスクエアのキチョウコクの色もあんな色だっけ？何かが狂い始めている。ヤバイニオイがプンプンするぜ。

オレのニワ、バンタムストリート。
Something's definitely not right here. Hey! Who're those guys in the black suits?! And who painted all over my graffiti! What's going on here?!

コインが行方不明になってから、いつもとなにかちがう。黒ずくめの変な奴等もうろついている。
赤い矢印を見つけて、グラフィティを描け！
There was a message on a piece of graffiti... I think it was from Coin.
He told me to go to Grind Square. It seems like the punks that have been painting those ugly pieces of art have been hangin' around Grind Square, too. They probably already know that we've been painting over their stuff with our own symbols. They may be dangerous, but we can't let them take over. It's time to throw a little spraypaint party... and see if they come and try to crash it!
コインが残したグラフィティにはグラインドスクエアに行けというようなことがしるされていた。グラインドスクエアにもヤツらがうろついているようだ。あの目障りな絵はどうやら「ヤツら」のお絵描きのようだ。オレが塗りかえているのにも感付いている。危険な連中かも知れないが、このままヤツらをのさばらすわけにはいかない。派手にやって、ヤツらをあおってやろう。

ロッカクグループ資本ビル、グラインドスクエア。
Those guys in black suits are here again. What exactly did Coin discover to make these guys so anxious?

例の奴等がうろついている。行方不明のコインは、一体ここで何を見つけたのか？
赤い矢印を見つけてグラフィティを描け。
Grind Square... the whole place was built by the Rokkaku Group. And I'm starting to get the feeling that those men in black suits are somehow connected to the Rokkaku. And this message that Coin left me... I don't understand it! What's this golden rhino that he painted? Does it have anything to do with the Rokkaku? Is all of this their doing? And is anything strange going on in Tokyo, too? What's this new radio station "Jet Set Radio" that everybody keeps talking about? Well... I'm sorta one-track minded... and now that it looks like I'm involved in something big here. I got no choice but to fly to Tokyo. And if my contacts are right, the first guys I need to get a hold of are these people that call themselves the "GG's".
グラインドスクエア。ロッカクグループ資本のビルだ。黒いスーツのヤツらは、やはりこのロッカクグループと関係があったようだ。コインはグラフィティメッセージを描き残し、そこに力尽きていた。「ヤツら」のシワザだろうか？コインの絵に描かれている、金のサイとは？六角マークは？トーキョー？ＪＥＴ ＳＥＴ ＲＡＤＩＯとは？足を突っ込んだらもう抜けられないのが、オレの性分だ。そんなわけで、トーキョーに飛び、クレイジーチーム”ＧＧ”にコンタクトをとることになった。
