婚約者に対する娘スーザンの態度を見て、淡々とした娘の様子を心配するビルが恋について語るシーン
この時のビルのセリフが死神ジョー・ブラックを刺激したようなので、自分なりに訳してみた。
ただし、映画のセリフとしてではなく、単なる英文翻訳を試みた。
日本語を探るのは難しいと改めて痛感した。

深く恋することのない人生など、生きているとは言えない。努力するんだ、生きるために。
