ドイツはBIOが大人気～BIOとは？？BIOで買うべき食べものとは～

Hey guys,
Yesterday I went to a supermarket near to my house, and bought apples, bananas, papulicas ..and so on of "Bio".
They were little expensive but I guess we should buy bio as possible as we can pay.

Anyway,
Do you know the "BIO"?

Bio is related to bio-, something bio-technology or a bio-graphy ..
BUT they are NOT.
"Bio" means organic.
If you shop in Germany, you can see many bio symbols on products.

An article "Understanding the Bio label" point out the history,
This label simply means that the product is organic. Some farmers in Germany started using organic style agricultural method in the late-1920s. In 1991, the European Union adopted regulations on the organic production of agricultural products. In 1999, the rules were extended to cover organic livestock production.

Now, , they says the official German Bio-Siegel is used by 5.362 companies on 80.059 products.
yeah, when I went to supermarket, almost items have bio and non-bio.

EU organic sealは明確に生産と加工について、オーガニックを定義してる。
どの農薬、飼料、殺虫剤は使っていいのか、どのくらいのスペースに何匹まで飼えるのかなど。これらが厳密に審査され、ビオに登録できる。その後も年二回ほど検査が入るのだそう。加工品の場合はこれらに通った原料だけで作るという。きびしい！

有機なので、健康によくない農薬などが使われておらず、安全！
