英語日記記録: Going to Mito 水戸に行ったよ。

スニーカーにどハマり中の夫に連れられて、水戸のリセールショップ巡りをしてきました。

その日のことについて書いた英語日記。

ネイティブの先生にチェックしてもらいました。

今回使いたかったのは、

(探索する)

I went to Mito with my husband last Sunday. He is really into sneakers these days and {is always} watching YouTubes {videos} about it. He got inspired by those videos and said he wants to explore some second-hand stores. I wasn’t really interested in them, but I thought it would be fun to {go somewhere new.} see new places. Unexpectedly, I had a blast! at those shops!
I mainly looked at clothes, and there were some items that caught my eye!! I ended up buying four items clothes and it only costed 4500-yen in total. 
It is {an} eco-friendly way of shopping so I think I will shop more at second-hand stores from now on.

大きく間違えたところはなかったのですが、相変わらず私の苦手な言い回しが出来ていないなぁと感じました。

特に、to go somewhere new のところ。

聞けば必ず分かるのに、自分が話す時は出てこない単語や言い回しって、本当に沢山ありますよね。

いかにインプットだけではだめだということを痛感します。スピーキングとなると瞬時に取り出す瞬発力も必要だから、そりゃ難しいですわい。

それにしても明日から2連休！
嬉しい〜。
