"Redundancy" is not a bad word.

Hi there, it's Maruko.

Today is a holiday in Japan. To tell you the truth, my stress is decreasing day by day thanks to the remote work, however, I feel much better today because I don't need to open the laptop of my work. (I have two laptops right now, one is for my private and the other is for my work.)

Today, I'll think about the word "redundancy"

I have a bad image of the word "redundancy" for a long time. I used this word like; "This document's message is kind of...redundant, right?"

This morning, I learned this word is used not always for bad or negative meaning.

Let's think about your life.

There are the main system and the subsystem in your life.

When the main system goes down, the subsystem appears on behalf of the main one. This is "redundancy".

Today, I made a drawing that shows my main system and subsystem.

I began to write from my "work". From this, I realized that my biggest interest right now is "work". Well, let's see the item "work".

〈My Main Business〉

By recent coronavirus effect, perhaps most of the companies found out they don't need an office or they don't need to hire so many persons.

From an employee's point of view, the most important thing is, "How do we make values for the company to be an essential person?"

This word is an old cliche, but we need to think about it once more.

〈My Side Business〉

My theme right now is "how to increase the number of subsystems and how to make them grown".

Every month I write down that month's sales target of my side business and count backward to achieve the goal.

Of course, there is impatience that I wand to make them bigger as soon as possible. But on the other hand, I understand that I can't make them big at a moment.

Let's visualize your "main system" and "subsystem"

If you have the time, why don't you visualize your "main system" and "subsystem" on the notepad? By visualizing it, you can see the point which you need to make stronger.

Well then, have a nice day, everyone!
