Mr. Amano's AVOS Application 1|"Timetable function" improves learning efficiency!

Hello. In my previous article, I introduced Mr. Amano, a teacher in the physical therapy department of Wakasa Medical Health & Welfare School, who appeared as a guest in a virtual interview introducing AVOS introduction and utilization case studies.

In this article, we'll get right into how Mr. Amano utilizes AVOS! The interview delivery regarding this article is also available on YouTube. Please take a look if you like.

Mr. Amano teaches us how to use the AVOS timetable function in a convenient way!

Let's take a look at how to use it along with Mr. Amano's presentation materials.

Mr. Amano Sensei utilizes the "timetable function!" in his daily classes. The teacher creates a timetable in advance in the virtual online school space, and students can enter the virtual classroom by clicking on the name of each class.

Clicking on a timetable also lists links to confirmation tests and attachments. Mr. Amano posts all the materials needed for study, such as tests, study drills, and textbooks used in class related to each timetable, on this screen to help students review.

Mr. Amano says, "I do it with the thought, 'If it were me, I would like to use it this way. What is interesting is that the teacher did not put all the teaching materials on the timetable from the beginning in this way. Students asked him to include PDF files of the textbooks, and he added a few necessary ones. and he added what was needed little by little. This shows the wonderful relationship between Mr. Amano and his students.

In addition, Mr. Amano Sensei records his virtual classroom lessons and uploads the videos to his timetable as soon as the lesson is over. You can see Mr. Amano's face in the center of the screen. Thanks to this, students can review and review the class videos on the bus on the way home, after returning home, or on weekends when they have time.

Just click on the timetable and you have all the information for that class! They can study anytime with just one phone or tablet! Mr. Amano, who is expanding the learning environment for students to the fullest, is too good to be true.

Of course, there are students who want to study using paper materials instead of digital data! There are also students who say, "I want to study using paper materials! For such students, we print out the materials and give them to them. They are flexible to meet the needs of students.

An unexpected positive effect when you start recording classes!

As already mentioned, Mr. Amano has been recording his virtual classes and sharing them with his students, and it seems that starting to record his classes has had an unexpected positive effect.

When I record my classes, I don't say things that have nothing to do with the class and that I can't help. Thanks to this, I can now finish my classes on time (laughs).

The interviewer laughed and laughed and laughed at the teacher's small talk.

Not only has the efficiency of the students' after-school study improved, but the efficiency of the classes themselves has also improved! It may be an episode that only Mr. Amano, a teacher who loves to tell stories, could have told.
