友人がアメリカに次の日に帰るので、最後に2人でお土産散策をしました。ケープコースト城の近くにはbaobab children foundation があります。そこは教育やアドボカシー活動を通じて、ガーナに影響を与えている多くの問題に取り組み、さまざまな活動を通じて、代替的な生活や仕事の方法を見つけることを目指しています。環境保護を目的としてプラスチックリサイクルを行い、お店ではリサイクルの末に作られたポーチが売られています。他にも伝統芸術を駆使した作品や、洋服、色々なものが売られています。売上金は教材費に使われており、学校の教育促進につながります。
My friend was returning to the USA the next day, so we did one last getting souvenir walk together. Baobab children's foundation locates close to cape coast castle. It aims to tackle many issues affecting Ghana through education and advocacy to find alternative ways of living and to work through various activities. Plastic recycling is used to protect the environment, and the shop sells pouches made after recycling. Other items on sale include works of traditional art, clothes and various other things. Proceeds from the sales are used to pay for teaching materials and to promote education in schools.
