第3の場所を持つということ

約1週間コロナの疑いで調子が悪かったのだが、その間も、新しいジムの友達がメッセージをくれたり、次の楽しいイベントに誘ってくれたり、古い友達が心配して連絡をくれたりしてずいぶんと支えられた。

仕事以外にいろんな集まりに参加するようにしている。

どれもこれもゆるーいものだけど、それぞれの場所で、数人の本当の意味で心許せる友ができたりして、随所で私を支えてくれる。

第3の場所を持つ。

気分が変わる。新たな自分に出会える。自分の可能性を感じられる。

これからも、やっぱり第3の場所を増やしていきたい。

I had been feeling unwell for about a week with suspected COVID, but during that time, my new gym friends sent me messages, invited me to fun upcoming events, and my old friends reached out with concern, which really supported me a lot.

I try to participate in various gatherings outside of work.

Though all of them are quite casual, I've managed to find a few truly trustworthy friends in each place, who support me in many ways.

Having a third place.

It changes your mood. You meet a new version of yourself. You can feel your potential.

I definitely want to increase my third places from now on as well.
