Have ever made lemonade?

Today I’ll tell you my lemonade story. Have you ever drunk lemonade? Do you guys like it?

When I was a high school student, I belonged to valley ball club. unfortunately I didn’t seem to have the talent of valley ball, so I was always one of spare players. In deed, In fact, I played in the match only once 3 years. however I really liked to go to the club to practice. Because I liked my team mates so much. They were so nice ,cute, and stupid girls. We were always together, not only in the club but also in the class and of couse weekends, summer vacations. we were able to go on talking for hours.

When we were in second year of high school , a girl , her name is YOKO , she got sick, it was kind of serious one, doctor said to her that she needed surgery ,and after that , had to stay at the hospital at least for 6 months.
I was sure, when She knew it, she got shock and depressed. But she never cried in front of us.

The surgery went well . We all were really relived. then we went to see her at the hospital every day after club activity, and spend 15 minites together. But You know 15 minites chatting could be too short for a high school girl staying alone at the hospital. Despite that, she never complained and never cried.
You know, there was no internet, no mobile phone, , no Instagram no Line…at that time. So we went to the hospital every day ,taking more than an hour for 15 mimuites chatting.

In the meantime, she was getting better and better. Finally she recovered from illness, and finished her hospitalization shorter than planned. I remember her doctor was so surprised.

We were not able to graduate at the same year, because she had to repeat a year.
After graduating from high school, we are walking on different path, and we are gradually growing apart.

However When YOKO got married, we all were invited her wedding party. That was a long time since the last time we saw .
In spite of that, we caught up very easily ,and all during the party, we were so busy to cry and laugh looking back to our school days. And I saw the beautiful bride., YOKO , she was crying too.

YOKO’s illness, it was like sour lemon for us.
Sometimes, life gives us sour lemon, but we can turn it into sweet lemonade with friends.
