02-39_Capitol Reef

We are heading to next place. This is the shop in the huge rock like a convinience store. Inside was super cool, looks like we are in the tunnel. We come here for filling up gas and using the restroom.

On our way, especially around here there are only few gas station (some area no gas station over 100 mils...)so It’s better to fill up gas if we find gas station. We didn’t have the plan to go this park but we added it since we have a little extra time.

Based on her father’s info, we looked for green rock(Actually It was not here).

This park is long north south side so we gonna go to the limited area at the center of the park. Este parque no es grande pero es largo de norte a sur. Así que vamos a solo área limitada en centro de parque.

In this season, It was really dry anywhere but there seem many fruits tree in rainy season in the fruta area.

Having a lunch at Gifford House. There are no restaurant, so we ate salad, instant noodle and snack using camping gear.

and taking a nap. Almorzamos y tomamos siesta a lado de la tienda.

This is the wall at Petroglyph Panel area. Can you see the drawing on the wall? Native Indian draw these a long long time ago.

I can see some people (male and female), some animals with horn and insects.

It’s amazing to still exsist. These drawing was on high position above 20-30ft. I guess these rock was moved up due to volcano activity or something?

Petroglyph area was not trail just saw the drawing so we gonna go trail next. It named Grand wash at south of Fruita area. The rocks on both roadside makes narrow at some area like a ’Narrows in Zion'.
