先日、3月8日の国際女性デーに合わせて、CNNでも日本の働く女性の現状を報道していました。

「キャリア女性が出産後に仕事か育児かの選択を迫られる」という趣旨のレポートで、特に欧米諸国から日本はこういうふうに見えるんだなあ、と考えさせられました。

The Economist’s latest “glass-ceiling” index shows that Japan ranks second from the bottom among the world’s industrialized countries. As usual, Nordic countries including Sweden and Iceland take the top four spots.
