舞妓さんちのまかないさん

「舞妓さんちのまかないさん」というドラマがNetflixで始まりました。とても楽しみです。

というのも私の海外ゲストで舞妓さんツアー、祇園ツアーに参加する人で「メモリーオブゲイシャ」を見て来たよーと言う人が結構いるのです。

でもあの本の著者は元芸者さんから事実と違うと訴えられていて、監督もキャストも日本人が演じているわけではなくたくさんの誤解があります。

今回のNetflix ドラマは日本で製作していて日本のキャストなのでより本物に近いお話しになったんじゃないかと楽しみです😊

I’m happy to hear Netflix drama, “The Makanai, cooking for the Maiko House” starts. I’ve been doing Maiko-san and Gion district tours for many years, but I hear a lot of misunderstandings for Maiko-san, Geiko-san (We call Geisha-san in Tokyo).
I personally think “Memory of Geish” is NOT authentic at all. The author, director, actresses are not Japanese. Also the author was sued by previous geisha who got interviewed from him. 
It’s sad to hear people misunderstand about Maiko-san, and Geiko-san because of that Hollywood movie.

This time, the new Netflix drama it made based on Japanese manga, director and casts are Japanese. It should be more authentic.
I recommend this to my guests from now 😀
