I went to a nearby temple named En-no-ji(円能寺), and interviewed the head priest.
I've researched it because it has a stone monument to commemorate cranes which were used in hawk hunting prey in the Edo era. They were hunted down using hawks.
I'm going to write about this temple with reference to the history of hawk hunting and the environment of Ota City at that time.
