「今出鍼灸院」は謎な場所にある

大阪・京橋で鍼灸院を開院して11年が過ぎました。
開院から今に至るまで、ずっと同じ場所でやっております。

京橋の商店街の中に、今出鍼灸院が入っているビル（マンション）があるのですが、
このビルは、地元の人にもあまり存在を知られていなかったりします。
というのも、メインエントランスが目立たなさすぎる。はっきり言ってしょぼい。
一階のタイマッサージ店の通用口にしか思えないような、そんな扉がメインエントランスなのです。

この扉を開けるとエレベーターがあります。
今出鍼灸院は3階にあるのですが、エレベーターをおりてからもちょっと悩むようなビルの構造です。
部屋数がけっこう多いのです。途中で右に行くのか左に行くのか迷うような構造。
街中にあって、アクセス自体は単純なのに、謎な場所に今出鍼灸院はあるのです。

建物自体は、かなり古いです。
なんでも元々は映画館だったそうです。それをマンションに改造。
当初の名称は「京橋レディースマンション」だったそうです。
だから「KLM」、「マンションKLM」が現在の名称です。

住居兼事務所、という形態なので、住んでらっしゃる方もいれば、事務所利用（ウチはこれ）の部屋もあります。
10年以上ここでやっているけれど、近隣との交流は皆無なので、どんな方が住人で、どんな事務所があるのかはよく知りません。

アクセスは良くても入り口がわかりづらいこの建物で、路面に看板を出すことができないために、「今出鍼灸院」は外からは全くわからない存在です。
そんな謎な場所で11年以上。
路面店や、看板の出せる所に移転しようかと思ったことは…ほぼありませんw
だって、便利な場所なんだもん。
商店街の中にあるのに、外の騒音は聞こえないんだもん。
「看板が出せたらなぁ」と思うことは時々あります。
でも私の施術は、お一人ずつ、40〜50分以上かけて全身を整えるというスタイルなので、1日に対応できる人数はそれほど多くありません。
単純に時間計算すれば10人を受け入れられますが、これはかなりきついです。5人ぐらいが限界に近い。
だからあまり人目に触れなくてもいいかなーと、この謎な場所で続けているのでした。

It has been 11 years since I opened my acupuncture clinic in Osaka, Kyobashi.
From the time of opening until now, I have been practicing in the same location.

Inside the shopping street of Kyobashi, there is a building (apartment) where Imade Acupuncture Clinic is located.
However, this building is not well known even to the local people.
That’s because the main entrance of this building is too inconspicuous. To be frank, it’s shabby.
The main entrance is a door that looks like a side entrance to a Thai massage parlor on the ground floor.

When you open this door, there is an elevator.
Imade Acupuncture Clinic is on the 3rd floor, but the structure of the building is a bit confusing even after getting off the elevator.
There are quite a few rooms.
The structure is such you might get confused whether to go right or left.

Although the building is located in the city and the access itself is simple, Imade Acupuncture Clinic is in a mysterious place.

The building itself is quite old. It was originally a movie theater, and it was converted into an apartment.
The original name was “kyobashi Ladies’ Mansion”.
That’s why it is called “KLM”.

It is a combination of residence and office, so there are rooms where people live, as well as rooms used as offices (which is what I do).
Although I have been here for over decade, I have no interaction with neighbors, so I don’t know who the residents are and what kind of offices there are.

While the access is good, this building with a confusing entrance and no signage is allowed makes it difficult to find Imade Acupuncture Clinic from the outside.

I have been practicing over 11 years in such a mysterious place.

I rarely thought about moving to a storefront or a place where I could put up a sign…well, hardly at all.
Because it’s a convenient location.
Even though it’s located in a shopping street, noise levels are low in the building.

Sometimes I think, “it would be nice to have a sign outside”, but my treatment style is to adjust the whole body for each person, taking about 40 to 50 minutes or more, so I can’t accommodate a large number of people in a day.
Simple calculation suggests that I can accept 10 people in a day, but that’s quite difficult for me. Around 5 people is close to the limit.
That’s why I continue in this mysterious place without much public attention.
