#6 Spring, 2016. 2nd grade in Uni (ep.0)
In the first year of University, in 2015, I registered classes to the limit. Christian class is a mandatory to graduate, so I tried to finish it in the first semester, but I failed. Disappointing.
I joined a baseball club to finish what I've started in high school, however, I was so surprised with very different "culture" there.
In 2016, the second year in Uni, I retried to do a Christian class. Speaking of baseball, my shoulder started to hurt since last fall and it became so worse that I wasn't able to show my full performance. I was working part-time for customer service at a tele-education company.
When I was wondering to start something new because I got used to Uni life, a friend from an English class asked me to join volunteer in India. In short, they wanted to go there to research the situation in poor region, which a new school was built in, and plan what to do next. A project team included less than ten students from some universities. They looked more diligent than any other students I ever met, so that I even respected them.
One day, however, they suddenly stopped working without any explanation. I heard that core members at the board got tired of it. I still remember how disappointing it was.
I was going to spend most of my summer vacation in India, so I couldn't wipe my excitement away to go abroad. Then I found "Indonesia Japanese Teaching Internship", which was organized by my Uni, and students who took a class of "Japanese teaching method" were the candidate of the program. It was ten-days program during summer vacation at a University in Indonesia. Students experience to teach Japanese classes at a faculty of Japanese language.
Changing from "only students to India" to "Univesity-organized and with a professor to Indonesia" convinced my parents who wasn't agreed with the former idea.
In this semester, too, I failed a Chtistian class.
