Mother’s Day in Australia💐母の日〜オーストラリア〜

I am a mother.
I did nothing of the housework today. No cooking, no washing, no cleaning...
I woke up and an idea occured to me.

Nothing to do is the best present for the mothers in Australia. Especially “breakfast on the bed🥪☕️”, they said🇦🇺

Then I decided not to do anything but reading in a cozy space. Breakfast, Earl Grey tea & some scones with clotted cream, in the usual seat also made me happier. It’s uncomfortable for me to eat breakfast on a bed. It might cause a disaster...

Anyway, I have to do more tomorrow,  among what I didn’t today😅

今年の母の日は、オーストラリアスタイルで。
「何もしないのが1番のプレゼント
ベッドで朝食が食べられればなお最高」
そんな言葉を思い出し、さすがにベッドでの朝ごはんは後が怖いのでやめて、アールグレイとスコーンの朝食をいつもの場所で。
読書以外何もしない1日は最高でした。
さて、明日は今日の分も頑張らねば😅

【世界の母の日】
オーストラリアの母の日は、5月の第2日曜日
カーネーションではなく菊(Chrysanthemums, マムの音にかけてお母さんの花とか)を贈るらしいです。

タイの母の日は、女王様のお誕生日の8月12日
女王様の誕生日カラーの水色にちなんだものや、ジャスミンの花輪を贈るらしいです。

母になれたあの日の感動と、母にしてくれた息子と夫への感謝の気持ちが持てる1日でした。
