チェ·ジョンヨプ、二階堂ふみ、韓国での反応( Chae Jong-yeop and Nikaido Fumi's reaction in Korea)

チェ·ジョンヨプは、残念ながら韓国ではスターではない。 日本でヒョプ様で人気があるなんて信じられなかった。 知人からドラマとチェ·ジョンヨプを紹介され、早く視聴を始めた。
背が高くて善良な印象を持ったチェ·ジョンヨプはドラマで親切で微笑が絶えない明るい姿だった。 なぜ日本で人気があるのか理解できた。 韓国ではこのような人を「フンナン」と表現する。 「フンナン」の意味は「心を柔らかく溶かしてくれる暖かさがある」だ。
あまり知られていないため、彼に対する韓国内の情報がない。 アイドルなら、てきぱきと博士である子どもたちに聞いても、会社員たちに聞いても、チェ·ジョンヨプを知っている人は誰もいなかった。
私が覚えているチェ·ジョンヨプは「ストーブリーグ」というドラマでの若い姿の助演だったチェ·ジョンヨプだ。
そんな彼が日本で大活躍中であることに拍手を送る。 私が知らなかったが検索してみると「無人島のディーバ」という韓国ドラマで主演もしていた。
かなりドラマが成功したことに比べれば、チェ·ジョンヨプの認知度は大きくない。 おそらくメイン主演のパク·ウンビンに焦点が合わされていたためと見られる。
「Eye Love You」でのヒロインである「二階堂ふみ」が日本で認知度が高いのと似ている。 二階堂ふみは将軍というドラマを通じて知り、「Eye Love You」の二階堂のような人なのか、一瞬勘違いするほど正反対の演技だった。 将軍では冷徹で笑いのないカリスマの姿だったとすれば、「Eye Love You」では可愛くて笑いに満ちた少女の姿だった。 彼女の演技に賛辞を送る。
残念ながら韓国では二階堂ふみもあまり知られていない。 日本国内で韓国ドラマやK-POPが人気を集めているのに比べると、韓国内の日本の俳優や歌手の活躍は一部のマニア以外には知られていない。
ネットフリックスなどOTTで日本ドラマを十分に楽しめるが、人気を集められない理由はヒット作が出ない理由だ。 日本のドラマが面白いという噂が広がってこそ、一般の人々も視聴を試みるだろうが、なかなかヒット作が出ない。 普通、日本のドラマは内容が幼稚だというのが一般的認識だ。 今回の「Eye Love You」もストーリーが単調で幼稚だという意見が大半だった。
韓国ドラマは刺激的な要素が多くて日本ドラマの純粋なメロドラマは人気を引くのが易しくないようだ。 おそらく、チェ·ジョンヨプの’フンナン’イメージは、むしろ韓国では受け入れがたいキャラクターかもしれない。 しかし、二階堂ふみが韓国ドラマに登場すれば、彼女の180度変わる演技力が大きく反響を呼びかねない可能性が高いと思う。 2人の俳優の活躍をこれからも期待し、応援する。（Qの希望）
Chae Jong-yeop, unfortunately, is not a star in South Korea. It was hard to believe he is popular as "Hyop-sama" in Japan. Introduced to the drama and Chae Jong-yeop by a friend, I quickly started watching it. Tall and with a kind impression, Chae Jong-yeop had a bright and smiling demeanor in the drama. I understood why he is popular in Japan. In Korea, we describe such a person as a "hoon-nam," which means "a person with a warmth that melts your heart."
 
Due to his lack of recognition, there is no information about him in Korea. Whether I asked kids, who are experts on idols, or working professionals, no one knew who Chae Jong-yeop was. I remember Chae Jong-yeop as a young supporting actor in the drama "Stove League." I applaud his significant success in Japan. Though I was unaware, my search revealed that he starred in a Korean drama called "Diva on a Deserted Island."
 
Despite the drama's relative success, Chae Jong-yeop's recognition is not substantial. This is likely because the main focus was on the lead actress, Park Eun-bin. The female lead in "Eye Love You," Nikaido Fumi, is similarly well-known in Japan. I first noticed Nikaido Fumi in the drama "Shogun," and I was momentarily confused if she was the same person in "Eye Love You" because her performances were so different. In "Shogun," she was cold and charismatic without a smile, while in "Eye Love You," she was cute and full of smiles. I admire her acting.
 
Unfortunately, Nikaido Fumi is also not well-known in Korea. Compared to the popularity of Korean dramas and K-pop in Japan, Japanese actors and singers are not widely recognized in Korea outside of a niche fanbase. Even though Japanese dramas can be enjoyed through OTT platforms like Netflix, they struggle to gain popularity due to a lack of hit shows. The general perception is that Japanese dramas have childish plots. Most opinions on "Eye Love You" were that the story was simple and childish.
 
Korean dramas often contain stimulating elements, making it difficult for pure Japanese melodramas to gain popularity in Korea. Chae Jong-yeop's "hoon-nam" image might be a character type that is hard to accept in Korea. However, if Nikaido Fumi appeared in a Korean drama, her ability to portray drastically different characters could make a significant impact.
