The Japanese Prime Minister has condemned North Korea for firing （発射する）another ballistic missile over Japan.  The missiles flight set off Japanese military early warning systems and prompted alerts for residents in the North of the country.

日本の首相は、北朝鮮が再び日本上空に弾道ミサイルを発射したことを非難しました。このミサイルの飛行により、日本の軍の早期警戒システムが作動し、北部の住民に警報が出されました。

The UN has stepped up its appeal for aid for Pakistan to try to control a rise in waterborne（伝染病などが水系の）diseases following devastating floods.  It says it urgently needs five times more than previously requested.

国連は、壊滅的な洪水後の水系伝染病の増加を抑制するため、パキスタンへの援助の呼びかけを強化しました。 これまでの要請の5倍の量が緊急に必要だとそうです。

Donald Trump is suing CNN for defamation （名誉棄損）and damages.  The former US President is seeking nearly half a billion dollars after claiming the network held at a campaign of libel and slander （名誉棄損）against him.

ドナルド・トランプがCNNを名誉毀損と損害賠償で訴えています。 前アメリカ大統領は、同ネットワークが自分に対する名誉毀損キャンペーンを行ったと主張し、5億ドル近くを要求しています。

President Zelensky says fierce fighting continues in a number of areas as Ukrainian forces push ahead （押し進める）with offensives in the east and south of the country.  Russia has admitted that Ukrainian forces have advanced towards Kherson.

ゼレンスキー大統領によると、ウクライナ軍が東部と南部で攻勢をかける中、多くの地域で激しい戦闘が続いているといるそうです。 ロシアは、ウクライナ軍がケルソンに進攻したことを認めました。
