　この後、黒人の少女（タイシェマ・ベテア）とファーストレディーが抱き合う姿を映像は映し出す。
　こうも人種を意識した演説を聴いたことがない。
　まるで、黒人が犠牲となっているのだ、と聞こえる。
　教育問題にわざと人種問題を関連づけている。本来、平等であるはずの教育だが、地方の行政のあり方でばらつきがでてしまう。だから、その地方行政を批判するべきを、まるでニュース記者のように人種問題として取り上げている。暗に人種問題を印象づけて、自分の政策への批判をかわそうとしているかのようだ。巧みである。

　今では応援として積極的に行動しなければならないのはわかるが、今度の黒人問題の利用はオバマ自身の著書の出版のためであったろう。まさに彼のライフワークである。
