イガが短く身の色がオレンジ色。甘味が強く濃厚な味が特徴です。高級品。
解禁日:7月~

【キタムラサキウニ(通称:ノナ)】
長いイガが特徴。身の色がエゾバフンウニより白っぽい。あっさりとした味
解禁日:6月~

Sea urchins fed with Rishiri kelp are said to be among the finest in Japan. They can be eaten from June to September each year.
There are two types urchin that can be caught on the island.
Short-spined sea urchin is known as GANZE and is characterized by its rich, sweet flavor. Northern sea urchin, or NONA, has lighter, more refined taste. Try both to taste the difference for yourself.
