Origin of the name "Snap Tap"

440: Personal connections. Once in a while.

How he became a sofubi artist

440: I was hesitant because of the high hurdles, but 2 years ago, the year of the Boar was my year, and I drew a character for the Chinese zodiac, and with the help of many people, I was able to make it into a sofubi.

The illustration of Inotank is also used on the CD jacket, but what is the relationship between the artist and art sofubi in Mr. 440's mind?

440: I've been designing album jackets and flyers for a long time, but the songs, pictures, and three dimensional objects are all on the same line of my creative activities, and the shape of the expression is different from time to time.

Modeling and coloring

440: I draw a three-view drawing of the character here, and the prototype is made by Mr. Miyazawa of "Shikaruna Kobo". For the coloring, I create the data and directing it to the factory.

What do you think is the most difficult part of making sofubi?

440: I don't feel it's too difficult because I'm enjoying it, but if I had to pick
one, I'd say it's because the production costs are quite high, so you have to
carefully select characters that look good when they're made into sofubi.

In the future, the theme song for Inotank is already recorded in the album, but they are also working on theme songs for each character and plan to make an album of them in the future.
