Quarantine Diary 8/16/20

１５１日目。
５時すぎに起きて準備してビーチへ。雨降りの予報で、しかももう降り始めていたけど、どうしても外の空気に触れたくて。
強風の中、なんとかパラソルをたて、その下に荷物を置いてランニング。
そのまま風にふかれていたけど、早めに帰る。
何回もビーチに来るたびに、雨振ったらどうする？とか話していたけど、実際に雨の中出かけたのは初めてだったかも。
誰もいなくて、とても気持ちがよかった。

帰宅。パスタを食べて、Netflixを見て、お昼寝。

起きてからはそれぞれのこと。
わたしは義母の枕カバーの修理を終えた。
しっかり目の詰まった生地だけど、さすがに避けてきていたので、ピンクの刺繍糸で縁にステッチを入れたら可愛らしくなった。
黄ばんでいるので重曹で煮ようかな。

刺繍していたら夫が、「お茶飲む？」と聞いてくれてハッとする。
お茶の季節が来たんだ！カモミールティーを淹れてもらった。
２１度。こんなに涼しいのは今日だけだろうけれど。

最近はまっていたシリーズを見終えてしまってさみしい。
アメリカのドラマは、シリーズの興行成績によって続編が作られるのかどうか決まる。だから、だいたい最後のエピソードは引っ張るような謎を残すような形で終わる。
途中で終わってしまった物語がたくさんあるだろう。
語られなかった物語の魂はどこに行くのだろう？

ちなみにはまっていたのはこれです〜。
音楽がよかった。最近のスタイルなのか、テーマ曲を設けないで、いろんな名曲を毎回使っていてとても楽しい。

Day 151. 
It was raining, and cold, but we went to the beach! haha, yes we are crazy. 
I just wanted to breathe fresh air.
There were no one but us and two fisherman who left immediately after we arrived.
Put the umbrella and went for a run. It was hard when we ran against the wind.
It was our first raining beach trip.

Back home, had ravioli, Netflix, and nap.

I finished this pillow case which was my mother-in-law's. The cloth was very firm and thick, but it tore apart, so I did those stitches. 

When I was working on this, he asked me if I wanted tea. 
Tea! wow, it's finally approaching tea season. 
Although it won't be this cool everyday. 
He made camomile tea for me.

We finished this series "The Umbrella Academy" and now we have to wait till the next season. 
It took me a while to get used to this American TV series thing. 
In Japan, it usually only one season, and even if not, they finished the story. 
So you don't need to wait. If they make the second, they just do. 
I wonder how many American TV series which never made? How many stories got lost? Where the ghosts of those stories go?
