こちらのグループで毎日投稿しています。
日本人と海外の方が交流しています。

結局小さな積み重ねが大切ですよねという話です。
昨日の投稿にはなりますが、いろんな情報を見ていて「そんな簡単に、そんな短時間でできるはずがない」と思うことがよくあります。

例えば、「たった半年で英語をマスター」などを謳った動画などです。
クリエイター目線からすると、このキャッチコピーの方が
見てもらいやすいので、このタイトルにする理由はよくわかります。

I will write about "Small things add up to make a big difference".
As I wrote yesterday, I feel uncomfortable when I see the information. We cannot easily acquire something in the short term.

For example, I watched a video introducing techniques to master English in 6 months.
I can understand the reason why the creator gives such a title because it will get attention from viewers.

一方で、「本当にそう思ってるの？」と聞けば、自信を持って、「はい、そうです」と
言える人が何人いるでしょうか？
おそらくそのクリエイターも何万時間と英語学習をしてきて、身につけたんでしょう。

いろいろな紆余曲折を経て、一定のレベルまで到達したんでしょう。
ただ、その苦労を前面に出してしまうと、
あまりにも生々しくて、キャッチーではありません。

By the way, I am not sure how many creators can answer yes if I ask whether the title of the video is true or not.
I guess these creators also spend tens of thousands of hours acquiring English.
However, if we bring the effort to the front, it's too realistic and not attractive.

人の地道な努力を見たいと思いますか？
余程成果を残している人の裏側はみたいですが、
そうでない９９%以上の人、ファンではない人のは別にみたくないですよね。

例えば、
大谷翔平選手のトレーニングシーンはみたいですが、
僕が日英noteを毎日どうやって書いているかは興味がないですよね。
#悲しいことに
これが現実です。

Would you like to see someone's effort?
We would like to see the efforts of successful people but
we are not interested in the efforts of ordinary people.

For example,
We would like to see the daily training of Shohei Otani ( MLB leager ) but
nobody don't want to see how I write this article every day.
This is the reality.

どうしてもまずは華々しい結果ありき。
ただ、その結果を出すためには気が遠くなるほどの反復練習と地味な積み重ねがあります。

そこをすっ飛ばして、
短期間で◯◯ができるようになりたい。
という考えは本質的ではないなぁとつくづく思います。

All that matters is the result.
We have to practice by repetition to succeed as if we feel overwhelmed .
I think the way of thinking below is not essential.
It means that people would like to succeed in the short time without practicing repetition.

もちろん短期間で成果を出すことは
大変素晴らしいことですが、
ほぼノーミスで、上達していくので、
つまづいた時のショックが大きいし、再現性がないと思います。
Of course accomplishing the goal in a short time is great but
I think there is no reproductivity because they improve their skill without any mistake and they will be shocked when they face the problem.

野球の話ばかりして申し訳ないですが、
イチロー選手は毎年打撃フォームを変えていたそうです。

毎年軽々と結果を出しているのではなく、
いろんな障害を乗り越えて、結果を出したと語っています。

その障害があったからこそ、様々な気づきがあったことでしょう。
急がば回れという言葉がありますが、
試行の数だけ深みが生まれます。

I'm sorry for raising the example of baseball twice but
I heard that Ichiro improved batting form every year.

He looks to easily produce a great result.
He said that achieving the goal has a long way to go.
As you may know the words "more haste and less speed",
we can notice a lot of things by trial and error .

そう思っていた矢先、
昨日のOUCHI de international のLINEグループである海外の方からの投稿で、背筋が伸びました。

Just when I was thinking about above,
I feel like stretching my back to see the post of OUCHI de International LINE group.
そこには夥しい量の漢字が書かれたノートの写真が添付されていました。
ちなみに彼はN2合格者。
12月にはN1にチャレンジするそうです。

N２といえば、日本への就職、日本の専門学校、大学の入学できるレベルです。
コミュニケーションにも全く問題がなく、十分なレベルをすでに持っています。

The photo, which is written in the words of Kanji on the textbook, is attached.
He has passed JLPT N2 level.
He will take JLPT N1 this December.

By the way, N2 level is enough to enter a Japanese company, vocational school, and university.
Japanese speakers can communicate with them without problem.

そのレベルに到達してなお、地味な努力を続けています。
漢字の量で気が滅入っているようでしたが、
そう言った積み重ねがとんでもないところに行く唯一の道なんでしょうね。

僕もめちゃくちゃ頑張ります。
Even though he reached the level, he still keep doing his best.
He looks become depressed to see a large number of Kanji but
I think this kind of effort is the only way to achieve great achievement.
