瑠璃色の地球
富士山の北に沈むようになりました。
こんなふうに
夕陽を静かに見つめることも
朝陽を笑顔で浴びることも
とても幸せなことなのだと
しみじみ想う五月の夕暮れです。
夕陽が赤々と輝きながら
富士山の南に沈むころには
地球のどこでも
地上のだれもが
夕陽を見つめ、朝陽を浴びて、
一日一日を穏やかに過ごせるように
そうなってほしいと願いながら

地上のすべてが

燈台の立つ岬で

朝陽が水平線から
光の矢を放ち
二人を包んでゆくの
瑠璃色の地球
泣き顔が微笑みに変わる
瞬間の涙を
世界中の人たちに
そっとわけてあげたい
争って傷つけあったり
人は弱いものね
だけど愛する力もきっとあるはず
ガラスの海の向こうには
広がりゆく銀河
地球という名の船の
誰もが旅人

The night will always dawn.
you say in a whisper,
looking out over the dark sea
at the promontory where the lighthouse stands.
There were days when I was troubled,
when I was crushed by sorrow,
but you were there,
and you kept me alive.
The morning sun shoots arrows of light
from the horizon
and surrounds us both,
Our earth of lapis lazuli blue
I want to softly share the tears of the moment
when crying faces turn into smiles
with people all over the world.
We contend,
we hurt each other,
we're weak,
but I'm sure
we have the strong power of love.
Beyond the sea of glass,
the galaxy spreads out,
and everyone is a traveler
on a ship named Earth.
