Yappli Launches New Service “Yappli UNITE” to Enhance Organizational Engagement - Connecting Diverse Internal Initiatives and Mobile Apps to Unify the Organization

Yappli, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan, Representative Director and CEO: Yasubumi Ihara, hereinafter “Yappli, Inc.”), a company providing a no-code mobile app platform Yappli, announced the launch of “Yappli UNITE,” a new service aimed at enhancing organizational engagement with mobile apps on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Various actions and initiatives are communicated via the app to unite the organization.

■Venturing into the Organizational Engagement Domain of the HR Tech Market

Yappli, a no-code (programming-free) mobile app platform, has been utilized to address challenges across a diverse range of industries, from marketing support for businesses like apparel stores and restaurants, as well as e-commerce, educational institutions, governments, and even the entertainment sector.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, work styles have diversified, including the coexistence of in-office work and remote work. This shift has prompted a growing number of inquiries about using apps to enhance organizational capabilities and revitalize internal communication, and provide development support for apps tailored for internal use.

Furthermore, the mandatory human capital disclosure for publicly listed companies effective from the fiscal year ending in March 2023, has amplified the focus on recognizing human resources as capital and enhancing organizational capabilities.

This is achieved by combining the no-code mobile app platform "Yappli" and "Yappli CRM" to create an in-house app, allowing organizations and employees to connect more easily, directly, and securely than ever before.

Utilizing the exclusive in-house app, Yappli UNITE effectively achieves the following five key factors that play a vital role in enhancing engagement. 

1. Communicate philosophy and vision
To bridge the gap between management and employees, the company's philosophy and messages from management are instantly communicated via the app. Leveraging columns and videos, the app facilitates the integration of the company’s direction and management perspectives. 

2. Providing growth opportunities with knowledge content
Educational and training materials as well as frequently used on-the-job knowhow content are optimized for mobile use to boost the opportunities for learning. This includes instructional videos on product handling and e-learning content for skill improvement, supporting employee reskilling and career development. 

3. Fostering organizational culture and internal bonding
The app supports a variety of internal events, stimulating both online and real-world interactions. It brings the atmosphere of teams that don't often meet in person closer, cultivating a rich organizational culture.

4. Centralization of information for smarter operations
By centralizing information, the app acts as an on-the-spot problem solver for field queries and serves as an internal information hub. It can also push essential information tailored to specific departments or individuals.

5. Conducting and analyzing organizational surveys

■「Yappli UNITE」 Customer

Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation has taken the initiatives to address challenges they have been facing. They aimed to streamline and organize dispersed internal information and content meant for employees, delivering it through a superior user interface (UI).
