OKPadトラブルで発送遅延
クラウドファンディングのKickstarterで注目された液晶とE-inkのダブル表示のタブレット、OKPadで発送トラブルがあったようです。
We would like to update you on an unexpected issue that arose with the funds from our Kickstarter campaign.
Kickstarter キャンペーンの資金に関して予期せぬ問題が発生したため、お知らせいたします。
When the funds arrived at our bank, we encountered an unforeseen issue. After discussing the matter with the bank and submitting all necessary documents for review, the funds are currently in the process of being returned to the Kickstarter platform.
資金が銀行に到着した際に、予期せぬ問題が発生しました。銀行とこの件について話し合い、必要な書類をすべて提出して審査を受けた後、資金は現在 Kickstarter プラットフォームに返金中です。
We have been in contact with Kickstarter, and once they receive the returned funds, they will reprocess the payment to our company account. This process is expected to take 2-3 weeks.
Kickstarter と連絡を取り合っており、返金された資金を受け取った後、Kickstarter は当社の口座への支払いを再処理します。この処理には 2 ～ 3 週間かかると予想されます。
In the meantime, we are happy to inform you that all OKPad units are ready and waiting in our warehouse. As soon as the funds are successfully transferred, we will proceed with shipping your orders.
その間、すべての OKPad ユニットが準備完了し、当社の倉庫で待機していることをお知らせいたします。資金が正常に送金され次第、ご注文の発送を進めます。

つまり、Kickstarterで集めた資金の送金でトラブルがあったので、一度Kickstarterに返金し、改めて送金手続きを行ってもらうということでしょうか。
その手続きに半月～１か月かかると。
上記のサイトを見るとわかりますが、当初の発送予定は
配達予定
2024年 8月
となっていましたので、約３カ月の遅延になりますね。
まぁ、トラブルの原因がわかっているなら、出荷停止にはならないでしょうけれど……
クラウドファンディングでは遅れるのが日常茶判事。
場合によっては金だけ集めてバックレるというのが常套手段になっていますので、発送されるだけ御の字かもしれません。
