Japan jumps to 2nd in Best Countries index

Japan is the second-best country in the world following Switzerland, according to a ranking published by U.S. News & World Report with input from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. For the index, the U.S. News rates countries based on a variety of subcategories, including openness for business, power, adventure, social purpose, and cultural influence. It is considered that the post-COVID boom and reforms helped bump it up on the index score. The Best Countries index is in its ninth year and ranks 89 nations.

Japanese tourism and economy might be less weak than we think. It's said that the Japanese economy is going to be weak, but Japan ranks among the high-ranked countries in a lot of areas such as technology or safety level. Also, Japanese people tend to be conservative about them. So I think we should be confident under the index.
