#43 the fourth planet

HAWK 2, upgraded several times,
is going farther into the space.
Between MARS and EARTH, 
a new warp zone to around SATURN
was discovered suddenly.
Though the logical safety has been confirmed,
as there is no telling what would happen,
a manned space flight has not been carried out.
But this time, the Youth has decided to.

The Youth chose two names as pilots,
SOMA and MOROBOSHI.

"Enjoy your space trip." FURUDA

"I'd like to go with you." AMABE

"Souvenir, MOROBOSHI kun." YURI

"Bon voyage!" KIRIYA

HAWK 2 is supposed to be controlled by computer,
and has already been improved so much
that it could advance more than twice as fast.
So, they have just passed the moon.

"""You'll be prepared for long sleep.
The next time you wake up,
you'ii see SATURN ring.  Good night, over."""

"This is MOROBOSHI, YES HOPE, over."

"Now, it's time to go to bed." SOMA

Looking over the tiny blue EARTH
and the huge moon in front for a minute,
they got into the sleeping machine.

Meanwhile, on the EARTH.

"Professor, another warp zone appeared.
Not sure yet where it will lead."

"I see.  It might be an emergency,
but we could just watch them."

"YES HOPE (Roger) !!"

"You are now in a dream.
It's OK, definitely."

YURI looks up at the moon,
which begins to be shaded by dark clouds.

Time goes by.

SOMA and MOROBOSHI woke up to find a gigantic moon outside
and a little blue planet over there.

"Why?  Where's SATURN?  The same view as hours ago."

"Some trouble might have happened.
and turned the mode to return.  I'll call to the EARTH."

But the planet they see looks exactly like the EARTH.

"WELCOME HOME.  GOOD JOB, SOMA, MOROBOSHI." KIRIJA

"while you were sleeping, you went to and come from suturn." amabe

"You Must Be Tired.  Take A Rest, Please." Yuri

"YES HOPE!!"

"SOMA san, don't you feel wrong with them?"

"What's it?  I feel nothing special, MOROBOSHI."

"YURI san, did we succeed in our experiment?"

"I Don't Know Well About The Experiment.  Ask Amabe Kun, Please."

MOROBOSHI puts on red glassses,
and he finds it is an android made like YURI.

"YURI san, this is a souvenir to you."

Saying so, he gives a punch at its face,
and its heads falls down after spinning a few times.

Then, FuRuDa, amabe, and KIRIJA get in the room.

"JUST NOTICED, GREAT.” KIRIJA

"What are you?  Where am I?"

"THE FOURTH PLANET. 
I AM COMMANDER, LOOKING LIKE KIRIJA AT THE PRESENT."

"What for?  INVADE?"

"WE ARE NOW ANDOROIDS, JUST MACHINES. 
IN ORDER TO BE TRUE HUMANS, 
WE NEED REAL PARTS SUCH AS SKIN, HAIR, AND EYEBALL."

"You will INVADE to get those body parts, won't you?"

"NOT ONLY THE BODY PARTS,
BUT WE KNOW HUMAN LIFE WILL GIVE US FURTHER POWER,
IT WILL WORK AS SEMIPERMANENT ENERGY."

"I'll stop it."

"WAIT, DON'T MOVE, OR I WILL KILL SOMA.
SEVEN, YOU ARE IN OUR WAY,
SO WE HAD YOU COME TO BE KILLED.
SOON OUR SPACESHIPS WILL TAKE OFF.
TWO ANDROIDS LOOKING LIKE YOU BOTH
HAVE JUST ARRIVED AT THE EARTH."

Meanwhile, two andoroids, SOMA and MOROBOSHI,
were in the Youth hideout, on the true EARTH,

Visiting the room, 
YURI found MOROBOSHI seated on the bed,
totally motionless, with its open eyes staring at one spot.  

"MOROBOSHI kun, are you OK?  You are exhausted." YURI

"i AM ok, BUT i AM exhausted." MORO-roid

"You got some souvenir?" YURI turned around
with MORO-roid behind her back 

"SOUVENIR?" MORO-roid stood up and approached her.

The moment, her turning kick hit MORO-roid's head,
which fell down after spinning a couple of times.

(Dummy, but feeling not so good.)

"""Are you OK, YURI?"""

"I'm OK.  I've done."

"""We've also done with another SOMA."""

(Kidding.  We'd been sure you were androids.  
You should've understood us a little more.)

However, HAWK 2 the androids had used was exactly real.

"They might be at a loss at what to do." AMABE

"Let me pick them up, Professor." FURUDA

"Wait and see, FURUDA,
until the aliens begin their next action." KIRIYA

There used to be humans-like on the fourth planet.
However, they had just ruined themselves
because of their own stupid behavior.

And the planet had come to be controlled
by the computer that awoke and became self aware.
The computer produced the commander as its own avatar.
And they had been waiting for the opportunity
to INVADE the EARTH and get human bodies
in order for the androids to turn into the super-humans.

At last, this was the very chance to beat MOROBOSHI,
who would prevent their humanization project.
Then, it had disguised their planet as the EARTH,
but it could build the hardware like the Youth hideout,
but not create the software such as human mind.
Therefore, their ways of speaking sounded rather awkward.

(Rocked up.)

Naturally, SOMA had realized they were unnatural.
Pretending to sleep, he looked around the room just with eyes.

(Watched by the two cameras.)

At a moment, he shot and broke them with ray-gun,
and in a row,  destroyed the door.

(Are you OK, MOROBOSHI?) SOMA in mind.

(Oh, he's just escaped.) MOROBOSHI in mind

His BEAM beat both FURUDA-roid and AMABE-roid easily.
But KIRIJA, the commander accurately culculated his movement.
EYE SLUGGER made no effect against the hard-metal robot.

"I KNOW IT."

MOROBOSHI teleported as closely as to the commander,
and shot ULTRA BEAM at it, only to find it out of target.

"I ALSO KNOW IT."

Shooting at the mirror, he tried to make his BEAM reflected.

"IT'S IN VAIN.  I KNOW IT.  NEXT, I'LL ATTACK YOU."

Its attack accurately hit MOROBOSHI,
even though he escaped as fast as possible.

(Too bad just as I am.)

When he had been in HAWK 2 while warping,
he was thinking about "warping" all the time.

(We could warp, moving at a moment over the distance.
Isn't it possible to move over the time as well as the place?
I wish I could move faster than the time.)

Now it was time to try, and only.
In spite of his short energy,
he concentrated all his power left on a moment, and released.
Then, commander's beam went through just behind his head,
and his BEAM penetrated the head of commander.
He had moved to a world after 0.1 second.
The robot commander stopped all its faunctions
and did not realize it had been beaten.

The main computer destroyed,
the fourth planet was gone.

The close examination of HAWK 2 voyage record
enabled FURUDA to arrive at the fourth planet.
And finally, SOMA and MOROBOSHI
managed to retuen to their planet.

"Welcome home.  Good job, SOMA, MOROBOSHI." KIRIYA 

"I am happy you can return safely." FURUDA

"While you were sleeping, you went to the another planet." AMABE

"You must be tired.  Take a rest, please." YURI

SOMA and MOROBOSHI smiled at each other.

"MOROBOSHI kun, did you recognize my android soon?" YURI

"Of course.  You don't have to say such a thing, YURI san." MOROBOSHI

"Even if I hadn't recognized you, I would have kicked your head."

"Why?"

"True MOROBOSHI kun could have avoided or received my kick."

(YURI san, your smile is really beautiful, wonderful.
I would like to get along with the Youth members forever.)

At that time, nobody could just imagine the day would come
when MOROBOSHI would leave the EARTH.
