SNOW

We thought and dreamed in days gone by,
From sunsets far, reaching for the sky,
But now the snow begins to fall,
Covering the town, freezing all.

If tomorrow’s light is glory’s call,
We’ll cross the night, face the morning’s thrall,
But snow so cold and white will stay,
In quiet, dreams fade away.

Once felt the thrill when we had none,
Maybe forgot, with warmth now gone,
Invisible hearts in snow so white,
Blizzard comes, before you take flight,
There’s still more I want to say,
I want to know you more each day.

We laughed and shared our dreams so bright,
Now balanced by business, money’s sight,
And the world begins its noisy rise,
Cold breaths chase us, no disguise.

Is there hope in tomorrow’s dawn?
Is it worth betting our dreams upon?

Face the snow in its endless flight.

Since days we forgot how to care,
