I'm originally from Hokkaido, the northernmost prefecture, but now I live in Okinawa, the southernmost prefecture. So, I would like to compare Hokkaido and Okinawa today.

At the end of the day, those datas are not so important to live. Nobody care the number of cows and family mart. From now on, I'll share the personal views to Hokkaido and Okinawa.

People's personality(just my personal opinion)

 Hokkaido people→
・relatively cool-headed
・precise 

  I think what Hokkaido people makes precise is snow and the climate. we have to live in the severe cold lands and some mistakes lead us death. So, that's why we are earnest.

Okinawa people→
・relatively cheerful and powerful
・They don't care others for better or for worse 
 In the individual psychology that is found by Alfred Adler, separation of Tasks is very important to build a great relationship. I think many Okinawan people are able to put it into practice. Separation of Tasks means to think whose problem this is and who have to take responsibility to the final consequence.

 I think if you wanna enjoy Hokkaido foods, you need more money. They are expensive and even most of Hokkaido people can eat the feasts a few times a year. While I think Okinawa foods are more reasonable and casual.

At the end of the day, which is better??

 Hokkaido winter is extremely severe for me, while Okinawa summer is uncomfortable because of hot and humid weather. As a result, I want to live in Hokkaido in only Summer and rest of the seasons in Okinawa.
