TOKEN2049シンガポールは、1万人を超える参加者、5,000社の企業、300社の出展者を集め、今年最大の世界的な暗号の祭典となった。厳しい市場環境にもかかわらず、暗号コミュニティがいかに賑やかで活気に満ちているかを目の当たりにし、本当に感動しました。

まずはキーノートパネル。主要チェーン社長セッション。

リップル社のブラッド社長は、業界団体の意見の不一致という問題点をあげました。

クリプト暗号の世界には、規制反対や匿名性ばかりを重視する層が根底にあると私は考えています。この業界の繁栄と達成を望むのであれば、金融インフラの仕組みを根本から見直す必要があると思います。

政府の規制が重要でないかのようなふりはできない。米国における問題の1つは、業界内でも内紛が起きていることだと思います。

米国にはワシントンDCにさまざまなロビー団体があり、暗号コミュニティのメンバーも大勢いますが、彼らは皆、意見が一致していません。

キャピトル・ヒルに行ったことがある人なら、きっとお二人もそうでしょう。上院議員や下院議員のオフィスに行くと、その日のうちに他の2人の暗号関係者がいて、私が言っていることと違うことを言っていました。そして、いくつかの基本的なことに同意しなければならないと感じています。進歩を望むのであれば、いくつかの基本的なことに同意しなければなりません。

Ripple's President Brad said the issue of disagreement among industry groups.

It is my belief that there is an underlying layer in the crypto-crypto world that is all about opposition to regulation and anonymity. If we want this industry to thrive and achieve, I believe we need to fundamentally rethink how the financial infrastructure works.

We cannot pretend as if government regulation is unimportant. I think one of the problems in the U.S. is that there is also infighting within the industry.

There are various lobbying groups in Washington, D.C., in the U.S., and there are many members of the crypto community, but they are not all on the same page.

If you have ever been to Capitol Hill, I am sure you both have. When I went to my Senator's and Congressman's offices, there were two other crypto people there that day who said different things than what I am saying. And I feel we have to agree on some basics. If we want progress, we have to agree on some fundamentals.
