Walking around Barcelona

2024/7/8〜2024/7/9

Day 3 in Barcelona.
That said, I was at the airport all day on the first day, so it's actually the second day.
And today I'm back at the airport again.

Before that, I headed to the beach to see the Balearic Sea.

Arrived

I think the sea is beautiful
no matter when I see it.

And drinking San Miguel beer
at Sant Miquel Beach

It's 2.5€ for a 1 litre bottle and it's a screw cap
so I don't need a bottle opener.

The sea is nice
but the sky is nice too.

I prefer to see nature,
and I think most backpackers do the same.

In the end, I stayed on the beach for six hours
and then headed to the bus station.

Columbus Monument

I don't know why,
but there was a wax figure of Forrest Gump.

At first, I thought it was a street performance
by people in cosplay...

Boqueria Market

Apparently this is also a famous tourist spot
in Barcelona,
​​so I hardly see any locals here.

Then I got on the bus and headed to the airport,
enjoying the view from the window.

I then spend another two nights at the airport before heading to Belgium.
