■Why I donate

When I was an after school tutor, my student asked me:
“Why does 1+1=2?”

He seemed to lose confidence because he didn't understand that. But I was very impressed by his question. It's hard to explain, but I felt his words had kind of innocent creativity.

Children are like a blank sheet of paper. They have so much potential and at the same time fragile. I want to portray them as they are in my works and help protect their future.

■Why I chose Ronald McDonald House

Ronald McDonald Houses are accommodation facilities for sick children and their families.

I have been going hospitals for a long time. Often the special hospitals were far from my home, because I'm from the countryside. Some time ago, I slept with my mother in a waiting room of the hospital until it opened.

For sick people, being with their families is more encouraging than you think. And illness always has financial problems. I believe Ronald McDonald House will alleviate the problem a little.

I chose Niigata House as my first donation destination, because I’m from Niigata Prefecture. Of course, I always carefully search for other donation destination.

■About the ratio of donations to sales

At first, I thought about donating all the sales. But if I overdo it, it's difficult to continue the collection, and ETH and JPY are not equal, so I reconsidered.

As a result, I decided to donate at least 20% of them, excluding gas fees. Please note that the amount will be rough. It may change from time to time and from work to work, but the minimum percentage does not change.
