COMPAMED – this year taking place as an in-person event!

Have your ever seen a tube with an inner diameter as small as 0.1 mm? I mean tubes, not wires. Hardly credible. But E.S.Q., maker of true technical excellence from Fukushima, Japan, makes it possible!

You may never have heard the name of the company but their tubes are everywhere: medical devices (as catheters and endoscope parts), in electronics parts, as optical device components, automotive parts or in aerospace equipment (assorted narrow precision tubing).

In particular, E.S.Q. is serving several major endoscope makers in Japan. So, if you ever had an operation involving endoscopy, there is a good chance that their product was once inside your body.

I am happy to be part of their exhibition team at Compamed 2021 held from 15–18 November in Düsseldorf this year. My cooperation with Fukushima Prefecture and E.S.Q. at this trade fair (Medica/Compamed) dates back to 2011. On this memorable 10th anniversary, I would like to share this news with my community on this platform – all the more so since many of you are sharing the same passion of promoting Japanese industry throughout the world.

My applause also goes to Kanda Package Co. Ltd, Asahi Rubber Inc., Shibaura Electronics (Europe) and to Nippon Piston Ring Co. Ltd. for managing to present their products at the Fukushima booth despite of the Covid-19 travel restriction from and to Japan.

Visit E.S.Q. at the Fukushima booth in Hall 14 (Booth No. A03).  And convince yourself with their unrivalled competence in the world of micro-tubing!
