When You Wish Upon a Star…

In the middle of a year, do your New Year's resolutions seem to be a distant past?
Well, we Japanese have a second chance: on Tanabata Day also known as the Star Festival. It’s a romantic legend – two star-crossed lovers, the Cowherd and the Weaver Princess, symbolized by the stars Vega and Altair and separated by the Milky Way, are allowed only once a year to meet on the seventh day of the seventh month.
You write wishes on colourful pieces of paper and attach them to bamboo branches.Traditionally, people pray for improvement of handcrafts like calligraphy or weaving skills.
Well, my craft is writing letters on a PC. May my writing skills flourish and your wishes come true !
