There are two main services we are currently considering.
One of them is a SNS that connects international students with each other and with Japanese students.
We are creating our own SNS rather than using Facebook pages/groups, Twitter, etc.

One of the features of our SNS is the "community" and the "topics" under it.

＜ Reason why we decided to create our own SNS ＞
Information shared at FB groups, Twitter and Instagram are in a state of flow.
We thought that something more archival would be more useful for international students.

The "community" is a group of people who are interested in a particular topic, and who share information and help each other.
The "topic" is a kind of subfolder for specific information, questions, and advice related to the theme of the community.
Both "communities" and "topics" can be created by any member of the SNS.There are already various kinds of communities, such as communities about Japan, communities about hobbies, communities by university, communities by country, etc.

私たちが現在考えているサービスは大きく分けると2つです。

そのうちの一つは留学生の人たち同士、留学生と日本人とがつながるSNSです。
Facebookページ・グループ、ツイッターなどを使わずに独自のSNSを作っています。

私たちのSNSの特徴の一つは、「コミュニティ」とその下にある「トピック」です。


＜独自SNSを作ろうとした理由＞
FBグループ、ツイッターやインスタグラムなどはシェアする情報がフローなものです。
それよりも、アーカイブ的なものの方が留学生の方たちに役に立つだろうと考えました。

「コミュニティ」はあるテーマについて興味のある人たちが参加して、情報をシェアしたり助け合ったりするグループです。
「トピック」はそのコミュニティのテーマに関係する具体的な情報や質問、相談を書くサブフォルダのようなところです。

「コミュニティ」も「トピック」もSNSのメンバーは誰でも作ることができます。
日本についてのコミュニティや趣味についてのコミュニティ、大学別のコミュニティ、国別のコミュニティなどいろいろな種類のコミュニティがすでにあります。
例えば次のようなものです。
