Today is a momentous day.
Our online Japanese language class platform has been completed.
The name of the service is PONTIS, which means "bridge" in Latin.
I have written about creating an online Japanese language course website a few times in this blog, such as in the March 2020 post "Creating a website of online Japanese language course" https://note.com/tomoni_japan/n/nffe9154db513
There are many countries where there are numerous Japanese language schools or universities where Japanese can be studied.
On the other hand, there are also many countries where there are few or no Japanese language schools.
In Africa and the Middle East, where I have lived or made business trips to, there are very few Japanese language schools.
I hope that people in countries without Japanese language schools or those who are unable to attend Japanese language schools due to various circumstances will use PONTIS.
I also hope that people living in Japan who want to take lessons in the morning or at night due to work or school schedules will use PONTIS.
All of our teachers are qualified to teach Japanese.
I personally interview each teacher.
We offer private lessons online using online tool like Zoom and Skype.
• Disadvantages:
- The lesson fee is slightly higher compared to teachers who teach many students at once.
• Advantages:
- If the schedule matches with the teacher's, you can take lessons in the early morning or late at night.
- The lesson content is customizable. It is not a fixed textbook or curriculum, but rather tailored to the level and goals of each student.

今日は記念すべき日です。
オンライン日本語講座のプラットフォームが完成しました。
サービスの名前はPONTISです。
ラテン語で橋という意味です。
オンライン日本語講座のプラットフォームを作っていることは、これまでに何回かこのブログでも書いたことがあります。
例えば、昨年３月の「Creating a website of online Japanese language course」です。
日本語学校がたくさんあったり、日本語を勉強できる大学がある国があります。
一方で、ほとんど日本語学校がない国もたくさんあります。
私が住んだことがあったり出張したことがあるアフリカや中東には日本語学校がほとんどありません。
日本語学校がない国や日本語学校があってもいろいろな事情で日本語学校に通うことができない人にぜひPONTISを利用してほしいです。
日本に住んでいて仕事や学校の授業の関係で朝や夜に授業を受けたい人にもぜひPONTISを使ってほしいです。
先生は全員日本語を教える資格を持っています。
私がすべての先生と面談しています。
ZoomやSkypeなどを使ってオンラインで受けるプライベートレッスンです。
・デメリット：
先生が多数の生徒を教えるのに比べて授業料は少し高くなります。
・メリット：
先生と予定が合えば早朝でも夜でも授業を受けることができます。
授業内容をカスタマイズできます。 決まった教科書やカリキュラムではありません。ひとりひとりの生徒のレベルや目標にあった授業です。
