In relation to my previous post, I would like to think about business ideas in the agricultural sector based on the concept of "reducing CO2 emissions."

The idea was that local production for local consumption = reduced transportation distance = reduced CO2 emissions.
Reducing CO2 emissions is extremely important from the perspective of climate change.

We can adopt the mindset of "if we do this, we can reduce CO2 emissions" ⇒ "let's create that industry."

With that in mind, I considered methods to reduce CO2 emissions in agriculture aside from "reducing transportation distance."
Increasing the amount that can be transported per container seems to also contribute to reducing CO2 emissions.
⇒ 1) Exporting as dried fruit.
　 2) Exporting as juice.

In both cases, it is more efficient to export the fruit in these forms rather than exporting fresh fruit and then processing it into dried fruit or juice in the destination country. This ultimately leads to a reduction in CO2 emissions.

One of the joys of eating fruit is the appearance and texture of fresh fruit.
I'm not suggesting that all fruit trade should be converted to juice or dried fruit. Instead, by processing fruit that is currently being dried at the point of consumption into dried fruit at the point of origin, we can reduce CO2 emissions.

I am sure there will be other business ideas.

前回の話に関連して、農業関連で「CO2を減らすことができること」からビジネスのネタを考えてみます。

地産地消＝移動距離が減る＝CO2が減る　でした。
CO2の発生量を減らすことは気候変動の点からすごく大切です。

「こうするとCO2の発生量を減らすことができる」⇒「その産業を作ろう」という考え方ができそうです。

それで、「移動距離を減らす」以外に農業関連でCO2を減らす方法を考えてみました。
・コンテナ当たりの運べる量を増やすこともCO2を減らることに繋がりそうです。
⇒　１）ドライフルーツにして輸出する。
　　２）ジュースにして輸出する。

どちらの場合も、果物のままで輸出して、その先の国でドライフルーツにしたりジュースにするよりは輸送効率が上がるに違いありません。　結果的にCO2の発生量を減らすことになります。

果物を食べる喜びの一つはフレッシュなものを食べる時の見た目や食感があります。

すべての果物の貿易をジュースやドライフルーツにしましょうということではなくて、現在消費地でドライフルーツにしているものを原産地でドライフルーツにするとCO2の排出量の削減につながるのではないかということです。

きっと他にもビジネスアイデアはでてくると思います。
