Considering SDGs

Have you ever thought about social issues in this wide world??

Well, I have not really thought about that before I came here, even though I decided to come.

About SDGs

The 2030 agenda for sustainable development, adopted by all United Nations Member states in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. As its heart are 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are urgent call for action by all countries in a global partnership. (https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/?menu=1300)

In the session we had at the UP was about SDGs. I have been hardly considered about these issues, so it was a good and forthcoming time for me. the 34 statements along SDGs were distributed to us within the session, and we considered which statement move myself the most. I got two of them, number 9 and 15. They were included in ZERO hunger and Gender equality.

ZERO hunger

Prevalence of undernourishment is put a matter in recent years. The grobal map shows that 2000 people are shown as undernourished. This increase in undernourishment is particular to the rising extent of conflict and compounded by climate related factors such as the El Nino phenomenon, which can inflict both dorought and flood conditions. Gender equality

・One in five women and girls, including 19 percent of woman and girls aged 15 to 49, have experienced physical and/or sexual violence by an intimate partner within the last 12 months. Yet, 49 countries have no laws that specifically protect women form such violence.・Globally, 750 million women and girls were married before the age of 18 and at least 200 million women and girls in 30 countries have undergone FGM. ・In 18 countries, husbands can regally prevent their wives from working; in 39 countries, daughters and suns do not have equal inheritance rights; and 49 countries lack laws protecting women from domestic violence.(https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/gender-equality/)

those statements are just made me so surprised.

the environment I brought up is cannot be the choice to myself. It is just there. What can we change is to make the condition better that now. There are already safe and qualified residence here for me. I am living under solid condition. When I look to the others, it is not always the same anymore. In different countries, there are different people and custom, tradition, culture. We should always listen to people who are not famielir with, there might be the voice of help.
